Here at Sugo Pasta the wellbeing of our team and our customers has always been a top priority and as we continue to protect the health of those who work and dine with us, we wanted to share some of the positive changes we have embraced to keep us all safe.
CLEANING / SANITATION
In our restaurant, we have always had the highest of standards when it comes to hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness. All surfaces that could possibly be touched by both our customers and our team (tables, chairs, door handles, serving trays, glasses, card machines, toilets etc.) are cleaned and disinfected throughout service. Contactless card payments are encouraged and taken where possible. HYGENIKX air purifier systems have been installed in all of our toilets to eradicate viruses and bacteria in the atmosphere.
TABLE / SOCIAL DISTANCING
Upon entering the restaurant, you will now have your temperature checked by our infrared thermal temperature scanner. A member of Team Sugo will greet you and explain our social distancing guidelines to help safely manage the flow in and out of the restaurant. There is 1 metre distancing with all relevant signage in place and glass partitions are now in place between tables for your safety. A disposable menu, cutlery and condiments will now be brought to the table once you are seated. Card payments will be taken where possible.
All team members have completed on site training on COVID-19 safety within the workplace. The wellbeing of our staff is crucial to us and we will continue to monitor the various requirements and personal precautions needed for their safety. All team members working Front of House will be wearing masks in adherence with guidelines set out by the Scottish Government. We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable when dining at Sugo. For this reason, we kindly ask you to monitor your own health and wellbeing ahead of visiting our restaurant. This is vital to helping us keep everyone safe.
